Audi Capital Taps RegTech Platform Azakaw To Enhance Compliance

3 Min Read

In a significant move to advance its digital transformation and regulatory framework, Riyadh-based Audi Capital has announced a strategic partnership with azakaw, a practitioner-led RegTech solution. The collaboration designates azakaw as Audi Capital’s official client onboarding and compliance platform, aiming to boost operational efficiency in alignment with Saudi Arabia’s Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations.

Streamlining Onboarding With Automated Compliance

The partnership introduces a fully digital onboarding experience for Audi Capital’s clients, who can now securely submit all required information and documents through the company’s website. The azakaw platform automates critical Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) checks, alongside Anti-Money Laundering (AML) screenings for sanctions, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and adverse media. Any alerts are immediately triaged to the Audi Capital team, ensuring timely review and action while continuous monitoring throughout the client lifecycle reinforces risk management.

A Practitioner-Led Partnership Approach

Delivered as a fully white-labelled solution, the azakaw platform has been customized to integrate seamlessly with Audi Capital’s existing ERP, CRM, and trading systems. This bespoke approach moves beyond a one-size-fits-all model. Zohaib Awan, Group Business Development Director at j.awan & partners, highlighted this method, stating, “Our approach is partnership, not procurement: solve the right challenges, measure the impact, then scale.” By mapping CMA requirements into automated and auditable workflows, the solution reduces manual processes and strengthens oversight. Audi Capital has also proactively informed the CMA of the new system, demonstrating a commitment to transparency.

Turning Regulation Into A Competitive Advantage

This collaboration signals a strategic shift in how financial institutions view regulatory obligations. Rather than seeing compliance as a bureaucratic hurdle, Audi Capital is positioning it as a competitive edge. “Our partnership with azakaw allowed us to reinforce our compliance framework while accelerating our digital transformation journey,” said Daniel Asmar, CEO of Audi Capital. This sentiment was echoed by Cristiano Machado, CTO and Deputy CEO of azakaw, who noted, “Compliance is often perceived as reactive or bureaucratic.

That mindset is outdated… At azakaw, we operationalize compliance as a driver of growth and Audi Capital embraces this vision.” Over the next three months, the firm plans to expand its use of the platform by rolling out azakaw’s Corporate Compliance module to further enhance governance and regulatory reporting.
