Program Overview
The NBB Innovation Programme is a three-week initiative designed to support early-stage founders in fintech and related sectors. It connects participants with experienced fintech founders and industry experts from NBB and BFB. Through mentorship and practical workshops, the program focuses on scaling strategies, AI integration, investor readiness, and collaboration with financial institutions, culminating in a Demo Day. The goal is to facilitate knowledge transfer and provide strategic guidance to help startups strengthen their models and prepare for growth.
Program Structure & Tracks
The program runs for three weeks and includes both in-person and virtual sessions. It is delivered through three key tracks:
- Fintech Founders Track: Led by seasoned founders sharing their entrepreneurial journeys and scaling strategies.
- NBB Track: Featuring NBB mentors providing guidance on banking-fintech collaboration and regulatory expectations.
- BFB Track: Practical workshops on tools, business models, investment readiness, and pitching.
Prizes and Benefits
- $10,000 Prize Money: Awarded to the first-place winner on Demo Day.
- 3-Month Incubation: The winner also receives a 3-month incubation period at Bahrain FinTech Bay, providing access to resources, mentors, and networks.
Eligibility Criteria
- Early-stage fintech startups or teams/individuals with an innovative fintech idea (even at the concept stage).
- Must be a Bahraini National.
- Founders must be committed to building and scaling their fintech solution in Bahrain and the wider MENA region.

- Onboarding: December 28 – 31, 2025.
- Training Program: January 4 – 22, 2026.
