Helwan University, through its educational entrepreneurship incubator Edu Talent, has officially launched the “Spark Tank” program. This strategic initiative, developed in partnership with Al-Waha International Schools, is designed to empower young students with entrepreneurial skills and cultivate a culture of innovation to build the next generation of founders.

The launch of Spark Tank aligns with Helwan University’s broader strategy to champion innovation, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. The program operates under the patronage of the university’s leadership, including Dr. El-Sayed Kandil, President of the University, who emphasized the institution’s commitment to equipping students with creative thinking skills. Dr. Mona Abu Hashima, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Education, added that the faculty’s mission extends beyond teacher training to building creative student personalities capable of addressing modern challenges and shaping the future.

Spark Tank represents a robust collaboration between academia, the K-12 education sector, and private organizations. The program is a joint effort between Helwan University, Al-Waha International Schools, the American Group for Educational Project Management, and the Association for Education for Sustainable Development.
