Saudi Arabia-based healthtech startup Nuxera AI has successfully closed a $2.5 million pre-seed investment from Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health. Founded in 2024, Nuxera is developing an AI hub for healthcare, offering integrated and scalable technologies specifically designed for hospitals and health clusters in the region, with a primary focus on the Arabic language.
Revolutionizing Clinical Documentation
Nuxera aims to solve a significant challenge in regional healthcare by transforming clinical workflows through its Arabic-first AI. The company’s flagship product, SERA, is designed to seamlessly integrate into existing hospital systems. It captures doctor-patient conversations across 28 different Arabic dialects and automatically generates structured clinical notes coded with international standards like SNOMED, ACHI, SBS, and ICD-10. This technology is reported to reduce documentation time for clinicians by over 70%. In addition to SERA, Nuxera has developed a “Talk to Your Data” engine, which allows hospital administrators to ask complex clinical, operational, and financial questions in plain Arabic and receive instant, data-driven answers.
Strategic Capital For Growth
The new capital will be instrumental in scaling Nuxera’s operations. The funds are earmarked for expanding the engineering and go-to-market teams within Saudi Arabia, accelerating hospital-wide deployments of its platform, and further enhancing its AI models through new clinical collaborations. The partnership with Sanabil Venture Studio by Redesign Health also provides Nuxera with hands-on operational support and deep healthcare expertise to advance innovation across the Kingdom.
