Saudi’s Silah Launches First Arabic-Language Platform for Global Tech Mentorship

2 Min Read

Silah, the first Arabic-language mentorship platform purpose-built for the MENA region, officially launched today in Riyadh. The platform connects ambitious youth and early-career professionals with hand-picked mentors from global tech leaders, including Apple, IBM, Google, Microsoft, and Meta, through structured, outcome-driven sessions delivered entirely in Arabic.

A Bridge to Global Expertise in Arabic

Silah was created to make professional growth accessible by removing jargon and “gatekeeping”. By focusing on Arabic-first delivery and local context, the platform aims to be a bridge not just to knowledge, but also to the confidence, networks, and global-standard execution needed to thrive in the tech industry. The company’s mission is to train 1,000 youth by the end of next year.

Action-Oriented Mentorship Paths

Unlike traditional mentorship, Silah emphasizes “action over theory”. Members choose tailored mentorship paths—such as career pivots, product management, Data/AI, DevOps, and design—and set measurable milestones. The platform uses goal-based 1:1 plans, practical tasks, and post-session follow-ups to ensure progress. This structured approach is delivered by over 50 experts who have been vetted for their coaching skills, not just their CVs.

An Engine for Regional Talent

“We’re building a regional engine for practical learning guided by people who’ve actually done the work before,” said Rami Salman, Co-Founder of Silah. The platform also fosters continuity through group AMAs, webinars, and a growing alumni network. To help new users begin their journey, Silah is offering a free introductory mentorship session with a global expert.
