Sharjah Education Summit To Convene 120 Global Experts On The Future Of Learning

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the 5th Sharjah International Summit on Improvement in Education is set to take place on February 14–15, 2026. The landmark event will be hosted at the Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) in University City, bringing together 120 international speakers from 30 countries to lead 130 sessions, including keynote addresses, panel discussions, and interactive workshops.

A Global Dialogue On Educational Transformation

The summit’s details were unveiled at a press conference hosted by the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) and Sharjah Education Academy (SEA). The event aims to address the rapid global transformations shaping the future of learning by focusing on key issues such as system improvement, innovation, educational leadership, AI integration, and the development of inclusive and sustainable education systems.

In her remarks, Ms. Khawla Al Hosani, Vice Chancellor of Sharjah Education Academy, described the summit as a unifying platform for advancing dialogue around education. She stated, “Meaningful education improvement can only be achieved through deep professional dialogue, knowledge exchange, and shared understanding of today’s educational challenges and opportunities. The convergence of local and global expertise contributes to building more sustainable education systems, where impact extends beyond discussion to tangible improvement in schools and learning communities.”

Ms. Najla Al Mansoori, Director of the “Proud to Be a Teacher” program at SPEA, highlighted the institutional collaboration behind the event. She noted that this year’s edition is distinguished by the integration of the Sharjah Award for Educational Excellence and Distinction within the summit program, reinforcing a culture of excellence and celebrating outstanding educational practices across the emirate.

Fostering Excellence And Innovation

The summit will feature in-depth conversations on the entire educational journey, from early childhood systems to advancing school quality through learner-centered models. A dedicated Pre-Conference Day will offer 11 advanced masterclasses for educators, school leaders, and policymakers.

Core sessions will examine the accelerating impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies on teaching, assessment, and personalized learning. Discussions will also centre on inclusion, empowerment, and educational equity to ensure fair access to quality learning opportunities for all students. The program is structured around three core tracks: strengthening collaboration across the education ecosystem, advancing innovation in learning, and promoting inclusion and empowerment for all learners.

A Collaborative Ecosystem

The fifth edition of the summit is sponsored by Invest Bank and Sharjah Media City (Shams). The event is also supported by a wide network of partners, reflecting a collaborative approach to driving educational advancement.

Enablement Partners include prominent organizations such as UNESCO, L.E.K., and the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa). Knowledge Partners like Pearson, Gallup, and Renaissance – GL Education will contribute specialized insights, while Technology Partners including MonoLith and AlMach AI will present innovative solutions for integrating technology into learning environments.
