Tunisia’s Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator Opens Applications for Fourth Cohort

Applications are now open for the fourth cohort of the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator project (GGJAP) in Tunisia. This initiative, part of the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP), is designed to support ambitious Tunisian companies by providing strategic support to accelerate their growth and strengthen their impact on the green economy.


Program Overview and Mission

The Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator is an intensive 5-month program that will support 25 Tunisian SMEs and startups. Its mission is to help founders structure and accelerate their growth, refine their management and innovation skills, and integrate eco-responsible practices into their business models. The program is implemented in a hybrid format, with online sessions and in-person events requiring an average commitment of 4 hours per week. It is important to note that this program does not offer direct funding, but rather provides high-level strategic support to facilitate future access to financing.


What Participants Will Receive

The program offers a comprehensive support system to help founders scale their green ventures, including:

  • Tailored Support: Access to the expertise of a network of experts and mentors to structure and accelerate growth.
  • Strategic Training: Workshops to perfect management and innovation skills and integrate eco-responsible practices.
  • Privileged Access: Opportunities to develop a network with key players in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including investors and partners.
  • Continuous Operational Monitoring: Dedicated support to overcome challenges and strengthen the business model.

Who Should Apply?

The program is looking for Tunisian companies that meet the following criteria:

  • Are a registered SME or startup in Tunisia.
  • Have a team of at least 4 permanent members.
  • Have been operational and registered for at least 2 years.
  • Are committed to integrating green growth and job creation initiatives.
  • Applications from companies led by women and young entrepreneurs are highly encouraged.

The Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator project is part of the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (DAPP) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. It is implemented in Tunisia in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Tunisia and Flat6Labs, a leading seed and early-stage venture capital firm in the Middle East and North Africa.
