UAE’s Yozo Raises $1.7M to Build AI Revenue Engine for Global E-Commerce

UAE-based Yozo.ai has successfully closed a USD 1.7 million pre-seed funding round to advance its AI-powered marketing platform for e-commerce merchants. The round was co-led by Access Bridge Ventures and Disruptech Ventures, with significant participation from Arzan VC, Oraseya Capital, Plus VC, Suhail Ventures, Glint Ventures, and M-Empire Angels.

AI-Powered Growth Engine

Founded in 2024, Yozo.ai is developing an AI growth agent designed to autonomously manage email, WhatsApp, and SMS marketing campaigns. The platform allows merchants to connect their online stores and approve campaigns, while the AI handles the complex execution of retntion and expansion marketing, aiming to close the gap between customer intent and actual purchase.

“Conversion and retention marketing involves endless moving parts—data, timing, segmentation, experimentation—far more than most teams can realistically manage,” explained Hossam Ali, Founder of Yozo.

Investor Confidence

The significant backing from prominent regional venture capital firms underscores the confidence in Yozo’s vision and its team’s ability to execute. The startup’s practical approach to integrating AI into essential e-commerce workflows has resonated with investors.

The company is set to expand beyond the Middle East, targeting global e-commerce markets where growth and retention teams are often expensive, difficult to hire, or burdened by manual processes.
