Riyadh has officially kicked off Biban 2025, the region’s largest forum for entrepreneurship and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Organized by Saudi’s Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, Monsha’at, the four-day event runs from November 5 to 8 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center under the theme “Global Destination for Opportunities.”
The 11th edition of the forum convenes a significant global audience, including over 1,000 exhibitors, more than 200 local and international speakers, and official representatives from 150 countries. The event aims to solidify Saudi Arabia’s position as a global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship, connecting founders, investors, and policymakers.
A Global Platform For Entrepreneurship
Biban 2025 is designed to serve as a pivotal meeting point for the region’s startup ecosystem. Its primary objective is to create an interactive and sustainable environment where entrepreneurs can build strategic partnerships, explore new opportunities, and develop innovative ideas that foster the growth of the Kingdom’s entrepreneurial landscape.
Building on the success of its previous editions, the forum reinforces its status as a leading platform that has historically launched hundreds of high-impact projects and agreements, facilitating the expansion of SMEs into both regional and global markets.
Fostering Growth Through Knowledge and Investment
To empower attendees, the forum features a comprehensive agenda of over 85 specialized workshops led by a diverse group of local and international experts. These sessions are set to cover critical business topics, including finance and investment, management strategies, marketing, digital transformation, and global expansion.
A key highlight of the event will be the announcement of several landmark agreements and multi-billion-dollar investment initiatives. These efforts are aimed directly at empowering SMEs by providing them with integrated solutions across financing, consulting, and training, thereby enhancing their capacity to scale and compete internationally.
Structured For SME Success
The event is organized into seven distinct sections, or “doors,” each tailored to address the specific needs of entrepreneurs and SMEs at various stages of their journey. These specialized areas include:
- The Funding and Investment Door: Connecting startups with capital providers.
- The Startups Door: A showcase for early-stage ventures.
- The Fast-Growing Enterprises Door: Focusing on scaling successful businesses.
- The Empowerment Door: Providing resources and support for founders.
- The E-commerce Door: Highlighting digital trade opportunities.
- The Franchise Door: Exploring franchising as a growth model.
- The Market Door: A marketplace for products and services.
