This year’s summit will bring together over 200 international thought leaders to explore how to keep human values at the core of learning systems in an era of rapid transformation driven by Artificial Intelligence.

Global Thought Leaders To Gather In Doha

The summit will feature a diverse roster of influential figures from technology, academia, and social impact. Notable speakers include Mo Gawdat, bestselling author and former Chief Business Officer of Google X; Nobel Laureate and MIT Professor Dr. Abhijit Banerjee, renowned for his research on poverty reduction; and Laila Lalami, an award-winning novelist.

Shaping The Dialogue On Education And AI

With over 60 sessions, including plenaries, research dialogues, and masterclasses, WISE 12 aims to address critical questions surrounding the intersection of technology and education. The agenda will be structured across five thematic tracks, covering topics from progressive K-12 education and the skills revolution in higher education to catalyzing multi-sectoral systems change.

“We are at a defining moment for education systems worldwide,” said Stavros N. Yiannouka, CEO of WISE. “As artificial intelligence and emerging technologies accelerate, it becomes vital to ensure that innovation amplifies human potential rather than replaces it. This summit will gather voices who are not only transforming education but re-centering it on the very values that make us human.”

A Platform For Collaboration And Impact

The summit is supported by a network of strategic partners committed to advancing global education. Key partners include Qatar’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education, the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), and the EAA Foundation.

Supporting partners ConocoPhillips and Invest Qatar further underscore the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration in fostering sustainable educational impact, a core principle of the WISE mission.
