talabat Egypt, a leading technology platform in the MENA region’s e-commerce sector, organized its annual “Riders Appreciation Event 2025” to honor its top-performing riders from across the country. The ceremony highlights the company’s ongoing commitment to fostering a supportive and safe work environment for its delivery partners, recognizing their vital contribution to the digital economy.
Recognizing Excellence and Integrity
The event, held annually in December, celebrated 250 riders with a wide range of rewards and gifts. In collaboration with partners Fawry, Tafweela, and Blu-EV, talabat provided honorees with discount vouchers worth EGP 3,000–5,000 from Raneen, credit on the Tafweela app, and a 10% discount on electric bikes.
Furthermore, talabat extended six-month health and life insurance policies through Fawry to 800 riders, underscoring its focus on rider welfare.
Awards were distributed across several key categories. Eighty-four riders received the Best Performers Award, while 100 were recognized for their long tenure and consistent high performance. In a nod to sustainability, 10 awards were given to electric bike riders. The ceremony also celebrated diversity and integrity, presenting 20 awards to the best female riders and 10 special awards to riders who demonstrated exceptional honesty by returning lost money and to riders with disabilities who have shown unwavering dedication.

The company has implemented several initiatives focused on safety and well-being, including awareness sessions on safe driving and first aid, the distribution of protective equipment, and free medical checkups in partnership with leading healthcare centers.
