Orange Jordan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Jordan Payments and Clearing Company (JoPACC) to enhance collaboration between the country’s digital and fintech sectors. The partnership aims to support and develop national talent, ensuring graduates are equipped to meet the demands of rapid technological change.

Bridging the Gap Between Education and Industry

The core of the agreement is to empower graduates from the Coding Academy at the Orange Digital Center. The initiative will provide students with practical experience and applied opportunities that are directly aligned with labor market needs.
This will be achieved through a multi-faceted approach including specialized training programs, joint innovation initiatives, hands-on project development, and structured engagement with Jordan’s burgeoning fintech ecosystem.

A Strategic Push for Practical Innovation

Eng. Philippe Mansour, CEO of Orange Jordan, announced the new joint initiative as an extension of the long-standing collaboration between the two organizations, which began with Orange Money. He emphasized that the partnership reinforces Orange Jordan’s commitment to providing Coding Academy students with real-world exposure and market-ready skills.
“This initiative reinforces Orange Jordan’s commitment to equipping Coding Academy students with real-world exposure, hands-on innovation, and market-ready skills,” Mansour stated. He added that JoPACC’s support through its JOIN Fincubator, alongside BIG by Orange, will “help accelerate the translation of technical ideas into practical payment solutions and strengthen the adoption of advanced financial technologies across Jordan.”

Investing in Jordan’s Tech Future

Maha Bahou, CEO of JoPACC, described the partnership as a critical step in forging meaningful connections between emerging talent and the fintech sector. She highlighted the strategic importance of nurturing young professionals as a long-term investment in the future of Jordan’s financial and technology industries.

“Empowering young talent is a long-term investment in the future of Jordan’s financial and technology industries,” Bahou commented. She affirmed that through its JOIN Fincubator, JoPACC will continue to support graduates with innovative fintech ideas, helping them transform concepts into scalable solutions that bolster the nation’s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
