In a significant move to bolster the region’s creator economy, Dubai-based Creators HQ has partnered with creator monetization platform Alfan to launch the AED 5 million Social Content Fund. The initiative was announced during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest gathering for digital content creators, held in Dubai.
The fund is designed to empower and support creators specializing in family- and society-focused themes, aiming to finance high-quality content that promotes family cohesion and positive societal values.

The launch aligns with the 1 Billion Followers Summit’s overarching goal of developing an integrated digital creativity ecosystem and empowering creators to produce meaningful content with a lasting positive impact.
His Excellency Saeed Al Eter, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Projects and Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, emphasized the initiative’s significance. “The Social Content Fund embodies our vision at the 1 Billion Followers Summit to build an integrated creative ecosystem. It opens the door for talented and creative content creators to access the latest technology and specialized professional development training, empowering them to produce innovative, purposeful, and impactful content that positively influences families and society.”
He added, “The Social Content Fund aims to enhance knowledge, spread awareness, and build constructive dialogue around key family issues. We also seek to transform the ideas submitted by content creators into sustainable creative projects with a tangible impact.”

The Social Content Fund offers a comprehensive support package that extends beyond financial backing. Selected creators will gain access to education, training, and state-of-the-art production facilities at Creators HQ.
The partnership also provides access to Alfan’s monetization platform, alfan.io, which enables creators to launch digital shops and collaborate with brands. This combination of financing and monetization tools is designed to help talent generate sustainable income. Furthermore, the initiative includes comprehensive assistance for outstanding international creators looking to relocate to the UAE, reinforcing the nation’s position as a global hub for creative talent.
