The Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council (ADYBC), an affiliate of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Numou to bolster youth-led enterprises and support the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This partnership is set to enhance Abu Dhabi’s standing as a leading regional hub for entrepreneurship by strengthening collaboration in financing and knowledge exchange.
The agreement was officially signed by Mansoor Abduljabbar Al Sayegh, Chairman of the ADYBC, and Mohamed Al Binali, General Manager of Numou, in a ceremony attended by Her Excellency Marwa Abdullah Al Mansoori, Board Member of the Abu Dhabi Chamber.
Forging a Strategic Alliance
The core of the agreement is to establish an effective cooperation platform that grants young entrepreneurs access to Numou’s innovative financing solutions while supporting the Council’s broader initiatives. The collaboration will involve implementing joint programmes and introductory workshops aimed at SME owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.
To further shape future entrepreneurship policies, both entities will exchange crucial data and analytical insights. The partnership will also feature interactive events and dialogue sessions focused on financing opportunities, allowing entrepreneurs to engage directly with investors and business support platforms.
An Integrated Ecosystem for Growth
Mansoor Al Sayegh emphasised the strategic importance of the partnership in realising the council’s vision. “This agreement reflects the vision of the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council to support and empower a new generation of young entrepreneurs through strategic partnerships with entities that bring expertise and resources to build a vibrant, sustainable business environment,” he stated.
Al Sayegh highlighted the national importance of this initiative, adding, “Investing in youth is a cornerstone of our national vision to create a globally competitive, innovation-driven economy. This aligns with the objectives of the national campaign, ‘The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World.” He noted that the collaboration aims to provide an integrated ecosystem that facilitates access to diverse markets and investors for emerging ventures.
Simplifying Access to Capital
Mohamed Al Binali of Numou expressed his pride in the new alliance and its potential to create a transparent and sustainable business ecosystem. “This partnership marks an important step towards enabling young entrepreneurs to access innovative financing solutions and equipping them with the tools to transform their ideas into viable, competitive businesses,” he said.
“At Numou, we are committed to supporting youth by simplifying access to capital and providing the knowledge and skills required for sustainable growth,” Al Binali added. “The cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council would expand the base of companies benefiting from our services and strengthen engagement with entrepreneurs across key sectors that drive the national economy.”
