The Abu Dhabi Chamber‘s Youth Business Council has officially launched the Youth Founders Forum, a new global platform designed to attract and support young entrepreneurs looking to establish a presence in Abu Dhabi. The initiative kicked off its inaugural edition in Mumbai, India, convening over 50 innovators and startup founders from Young Indians (Yi), an influential nationwide movement backed by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).

Bridging Mumbai and Abu Dhabi

The forum’s first international sessions in Mumbai provided a direct bridge between India’s emerging founders and the Abu Dhabi ecosystem. Representatives from the Abu Dhabi Youth Business Council and its strategic partners offered attendees practical guidance on setting up and scaling their ventures in the Emirate.

Key government and business entities, including the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Hub71, and the Abu Dhabi Registration Authority (ADRA), were present to showcase the opportunities available. They detailed how startups can access new markets, navigate licensing, and utilize support programs aimed at fostering sustainable growth within Abu Dhabi’s competitive and innovation-focused business landscape.

A Strategic India-UAE Partnership

On the sidelines of the event, the Council solidified its commitment by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Young Indians (Yi). The agreement aims to strengthen collaboration between young entrepreneurs in the UAE and India through joint initiatives, training programs, and trade missions.

Mansoor Abduljabbar Al Sayegh, Chairman of the Youth Business Council, remarked that the MoU “creates tangible opportunities for collaboration between young entrepreneurs in Abu Dhabi and India.”

Tarang Khurana, National Chair of Yi, added that the initiative provides Indian startups with a clearer pathway to enter Abu Dhabi and expand across regional markets, describing it as “a new bridge linking India’s young business community with Abu Dhabi’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.”

Building a Global Entrepreneurial Network

The Council confirmed that the Youth Founders Forum will become an annual platform hosted in various regional and international capitals. This strategic move is intended to build a robust international network connecting founders with opportunities in the Emirate and reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for innovative ventures.

Al Sayegh stated that the forum represents “an important step toward building an international network that connects young founders with promising opportunities in Abu Dhabi.”
