Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) Egypt has announced its sponsorship of ClimAccelerator, the first-of-its-kind clean technology and climate change accelerator in Egypt. The program was launched by youthinkgreen Egypt, an initiative under EIT Climate-KIC, a European knowledge and innovation community co-founded by the European Union.
The accelerator’s launch was officially announced at a ceremony attended by EU Ambassador Christian Berger, alongside representatives from youthinkgreen Egypt, ADCB, the Central Bank of Egypt, and a host of prominent entrepreneurs and investors.

The accelerator focuses on areas such as solar, wind, and biomass energy, as well as other eco-friendly products. Eligible startups are required to be innovative and have been operational for at least two years.
