Global financial technology platform Adyen has announced the launch of two new payment terminals in the UAE, the S1E4 Pro and S1F4 Pro. The devices are designed to enhance in-person payment solutions for businesses across key sectors including retail, food and beverage, hospitality, and beauty and wellness.
Tailored for Durability and Mobility
The S1E4 Pro is a mobile point-of-sale (POS) terminal engineered for high-demand environments. It boasts an IP-65 rating for spill and dust resistance and a 1.5-metre drop-proof design, ensuring reliability.
Featuring a 6.1-inch display and an all-day battery life, the device supports 4G and Wi-Fi connectivity. It accepts all major payment methods and currencies through tap, insert, swipe, and QR code scanning. Built on the Android 13 OS, it allows merchants to integrate their own business applications to manage orders, payments, and other operational tasks on a single device.
A Hybrid Solution for Versatile Operations
The S1F4 Pro serves as a portable terminal with an integrated printer, capable of functioning as both a countertop and a mobile POS. It offers comprehensive connectivity with 4G, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet options, and processes all major payment types.
This model includes a 6.7-inch display, an Octa-core processor, a long-lasting battery, and both front and rear cameras. It is also PCI 6 certified with readiness for PCI 7 standards, ensuring top-tier security.
Meeting Market Demands
The new terminals were developed based on direct feedback from merchants to address specific operational needs.

The S1E4 Pro and S1F4 Pro are scheduled to be available for order in the UAE, Europe, the UK, North America, and New Zealand in the first quarter of 2026.
