Algeria’s Leancubator Becomes First North African Hub to Earn EU|BIC Certification

Leancubator, an Algerian innovation hub and incubator, has announced a major milestone by officially joining the community of Certified EU|BICs (European Business & Innovation Centres). This prestigious recognition is awarded by EBN (European Business & Innovation Centre Network) under a framework acknowledged by the European Commission.

A Milestone for North Africa

The certification is a significant achievement for the region, as Leancubator is now the first innovation hub in North Africa and only the second in all of Africa to join this elite network. This new status solidifies Leancubator’s international positioning and its commitment to fostering cross-border cooperation, particularly within the Euro-Mediterranean region.

Joining a Global Innovation Network

By becoming a Certified EU|BIC, Leancubator meets the highest verified European standards for business support programs. It joins a collaborative international community of over 115 certified BICs across 35 countries. This powerful network collectively supports more than 36,000 startups and SMEs, all dedicated to using business and innovation as drivers for regional, sustainable, and social development.
