Leading Algerian telecom operator Djezzy and the national public accelerator Algeria Venture have signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at bolstering the country’s entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem. The agreement was formalized in Casablanca by Boumediene Snoussi, CEO of Djezzy, and Ilyas Abdoun, CEO of Algeria Venture.
This collaboration is designed to enhance synergy between public institutions and private sector leaders to accelerate Algeria’s national digital transformation agenda. The partnership will focus on supporting high-potential startups, encouraging technological innovation, and creating local added value.
Driving Digital Transformation in Algeria
At its core, the alliance seeks to build a robust and sustainable digital framework within the country. Djezzy will leverage its extensive experience, technological infrastructure, and digital platforms to support startups identified by Algeria Venture, particularly those operating in high-growth sectors such as connectivity, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Algeria Venture, operating under the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and SMEs, plays a pivotal role in the national ecosystem through programs that support certified startups and facilitate their access to international markets.

Joint Programs to Empower Entrepreneurs
To translate their vision into action, Djezzy and Algeria Venture will launch a series of joint programs. These initiatives will include training workshops, hackathons, and dedicated acceleration programs led by Djezzy’s industry experts. The goal is to enhance the technical and managerial skills of young entrepreneurs, enabling them to advance their projects to new stages of development.
As a culmination of their collaboration, Djezzy will also serve as an official partner for the fourth edition of the African Startup Conference, organized by Algeria Venture in December 2025. This major event will highlight African innovation and reinforce Algeria’s position as a key player in the continent’s tech entrepreneurship landscape.
