Anghami Celebrates Five Years of Building a Connected Music Ecosystem with Huawei

Anghami, the MENA region’s leading music and entertainment platform, is celebrating a five-year strategic partnership with global technology leader Huawei. The collaboration has been instrumental in transforming how audiences across the region experience music by integrating Anghami’s extensive library into Huawei’s growing ecosystem of smart devices.

From AppGallery to a Seamless Cross-Device Experience

The partnership began with Anghami’s onboarding onto Huawei’s AppGallery and has since evolved into a full-fledged cross-scenario experience. This expansion ensures users can seamlessly enjoy their favorite tracks at home, on the move, and on the road.

A key milestone was the launch of Anghami’s first HarmonyOS smartwatch app in 2021, one of the earliest integrations of its kind in the region, which gave users control over playback and music discovery directly from their wrists.

Earlier this year, the collaboration deepened with the embedding of the Anghami application directly into vehicles powered by Huawei’s HMS for Car platform, allowing users to access the full app experience from their in-car dashboards. Most recently, Anghami released an enhanced version of its app for the HUAWEI WATCH 5, powered by HarmonyOS 5.
