Challenge Overview
Jumpshot 2026 (NBPA x UM6P) is a pan-African innovation challenge for market-ready startups delivering measurable social or environmental impact. The program seeks to support scalable solutions in sectors like social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and inclusive growth. Selected startups participate in a three-month virtual accelerator designed to strengthen business models and growth pathways, culminating in a final evaluation where six winners are awarded equity-free cash prizes.

Eligibility Criteria
- Geography: Must be legally registered and operating in Morocco, Ethiopia, South Africa, Nigeria, Rwanda, Cameroon, Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, or the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
- Business Stage: Startups must be “beyond prototype” with a live product in-market.
- Traction: Must demonstrate evidence of adoption through revenue, paid pilots, contracts, or active usage.
- Impact: Must solve a real-world social or environmental problem for a clearly defined user group.
- Team: Diverse founding teams and women-led startups are strongly encouraged to apply. Solo founders are accepted in exceptional cases.
