Bootcamp Overview

The ClimateTech Open Innovation Bootcamp is a core component of the “Tabeea” project, supported by Mercy Corps and THE CORE@HTU. The program aims to address Jordan’s critical climate challenges—specifically rising temperatures and flash floods—by supporting the development of sustainable, profit-driven solutions. Participants will undergo rigorous training to build business models focused on Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), moving from concept to investment-ready prototypes.

  • Focus: Solutions must address one of the two main tracks: Heatwaves (e.g., energy costs, cooling for vulnerable groups) or Flash Floods (e.g., early warning systems, water harvesting, infrastructure protection).
  • Business Model: Solutions must be profit-driven with clear potential for market scalability.
  • Sectors: Open to various fields including Fintech, Insurtech, Agrotech, Renewable Energy, IoT, and Smart Infrastructure.

Eligible candidates must choose a specific sub-challenge within the Heatwave or Flash Flood tracks and submit their application through the official form.
