Investment Readiness Program Overview
Jahez is a national program designed to support Jordanian entrepreneurs at every step of their journey, from shaping a validated idea into an MVP to refining it for commercialization and scaling. Led by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE) through the Youth, Technology, and Jobs (YTJ) project , the program’s goal is to equip innovators with the right tools, mentorship, and funding opportunities to help them thrive. It aims to strengthen technical and business capabilities and empower entrepreneurs to contribute to Jordan’s vibrant digital economy.
Key Benefits
Participants in the Jahez program will receive a complete learning journey that combines training, mentorship, and funding support:
- A grant opportunity of up to USD 10,000, provided on a reimbursement basis.
- Core training sessions on MVP, business model, and customer discovery, plus tailored elective topics.
- Two intensive days of hands-on, in-person mentoring.
- On-demand sessions with experts in fundraising, pitching, marketing, and more.
- Access to a network of mentors, investors, and peers across Jordan’s startup ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria
Jahez targets early-stage tech and tech-enabled startups, including both registered companies and founding teams preparing to launch. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be based in Jordan with at least one Jordanian founder owning over 50% of shares.
- Have at least two co-founders.
- Offer an innovative tech or tech-enabled solution with clear potential for scalability.
- Have raised less than $1,000,000 in total funding to date.
- Have generated under $500,000 in total revenue over the past 12 months.
- Have not previously received a YTJ grant.
- The program especially encourages applications from all governorates, female-led startups, and entrepreneurs with special needs.

Jahez is launched under the National Entrepreneurship Policy and is led by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE). The program is part of the Youth, Technology, and Jobs (YTJ) project, funded by the World Bank, and is implemented by Viveka, a Strategic Innovation Consultancy Firm.
