Consultancy Role Overview
The selected expert(s) will be responsible for developing and delivering the Cluster Elevate 3.0 training. This 3-day online program (9 hours total) aims to equip participants with the knowledge and tools to integrate sustainable practices, access green financing, and prepare green transition projects for pitching to financiers. The role involves full design, delivery, and post-training reporting.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Scope of Work
- Training Design: Develop a comprehensive, practical 3-day online training agenda and content covering key aspects of green transition for SMEs and clusters.
- Training Delivery: Deliver an interactive 3 half-day online training program (approximately 9 hours total).
- Participant Support: Support participants in developing sustainability roadmaps and investor pitches for green projects.
- Post-Training Report: Deliver a comprehensive report summarizing activities, tools used, participant engagement, and recommendations.
Key Themes to be Covered
- Green and sustainable strategy, regulatory risk management.
- Circularity, green and local supply chain, and resource efficiency.
- Understanding ESG frameworks and the EU Green Deal.
- Accessing and mapping green financing tools available for MENA companies.
- Preparing green transition projects and pitching to financers.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in sustainability, circular economy, or green transition for the private sector (specifically clusters & SMEs).
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of sustainable value chains, ESG frameworks, the EU Green Deal, and green financing tools.
- Training Skills: Proven experience designing and delivering professional training programs.
- Language: Fluency in English is mandatory (knowledge of French or Arabic is a plus).
- Context: Familiarity with the South-Med private sector and experience working with business clusters or SMEs is preferred.

- Training Dates: December 10, 11, and 12, 2025 (Online).
- Report Due: Within 2 weeks following the academy.
- Budget: Expert fees are covered, up to €3,500 EUR total.
