The Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) has successfully hosted a new edition of its “Business Clinic” event in Aqaba, reinforcing its commitment to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial landscape. The initiative, a key component of ASEZA’s 2024–2028 strategy for entrepreneurship and innovation, was organized in collaboration with the TTi institution and with support from the Aqaba Governorate Council.
The event drew a significant crowd of entrepreneurs and startup founders, reflecting a growing appetite for ecosystem support services in the region.
A Strategic Push for Innovation
Led by ASEZA’s Entrepreneurship Directorate, which heads the Aqaba Entrepreneurship Network (AEN), the Business Clinic is a direct effort to empower local talent and strengthen the investment environment in the governorate. By creating practical platforms for direct engagement between founders and seasoned experts, ASEZA aims to provide the foundational support necessary for new ventures to thrive. This initiative is a core part of a broader strategy to position Aqaba as a hub for innovation and business growth.
Tailored Expertise for Emerging Ventures
The clinic provided dozens of direct, one-on-one sessions with a select group of specialists across critical business domains. Attendees received over one hundred specialized consultations in areas including business development, financial management, legal frameworks, marketing, artificial intelligence, and the green transition. This hands-on guidance was designed to support projects at various stages of development, helping founders make informed, practical decisions that enhance sustainability and drive growth. The strong participation of female entrepreneurs was a notable and positive indicator of the ecosystem’s increasing inclusivity.
