The Asharqia Chamber, through its Social Responsibility Center, is set to launch the Crafts and Handicrafts Exhibition 2025. The event will be held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, and is scheduled to run from October 8th to 11th at the Dhahran Expo.
A Platform For Local Entrepreneurs And Creatives
This year’s exhibition will feature a significant gathering of the region’s creative talent, with over 305 exhibitors participating. The diverse group includes artisans, craftspeople, and producing families, who will be joined by incubators, support organizations, and government agencies. The expo will host a variety of pavilions dedicated to handicrafts, painting and decor, perfumes and incense, as well as local foods such as sweets, coffee, and spices.
Fostering Sustainable Growth And Professionalism
Badr Al-Raziza, Chairman of the Asharqia Chamber, emphasized that the event’s purpose extends beyond being a marketplace. The Chamber aims to professionalize the craft sector by providing participants with essential business, administrative, and creative skills. By offering a structured channel to market and sell products, the exhibition is designed to create sustainable income for artisans and encourage them to pursue entrepreneurship, transforming them into active economic contributors.
