In a significant move to bolster regional entrepreneurship, Attijariwafa Bank, in collaboration with the Regional Investment Center of the Drâa-Tafilalet region, has officially inaugurated a new Dar Al Moukawil center in the city of Errachidia. The launch aims to create stronger synergies between the private sector and public support mechanisms, fostering a more robust environment for local business creation and investment.
Strengthening Regional Investment
The inauguration ceremony was attended by a ministerial delegation visiting the region to launch the new Investment Charter. Mohamed El Kettani, Chairman and CEO of the Attijariwafa Bank group, was present to reaffirm the bank’s commitment to supporting entrepreneurship and enhancing regional investment across the Kingdom.
The new Errachidia center will play a crucial role in this mission by providing comprehensive services to local entrepreneurs. It is designed to guide project holders, very small enterprises (VSEs), and young founders by offering localized support, targeted training, and personalized mentorship. This initiative directly aligns with Morocco’s national vision to stimulate regional investment, promote job creation, and drive economic inclusion.
A Nationwide Support System
Launched in 2016, the Dar Al Moukawil program was the first integrated ecosystem dedicated to entrepreneurship in Morocco. With the addition of the Errachidia location, the network now comprises 24 centers spread across key cities including Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Tangier, and Fez.
Since its inception, the initiative has provided crucial support to over 900,000 project holders and VSEs, in addition to 7,000 cooperatives. This extensive reach demonstrates a sustained commitment to empowering grassroots economic development throughout the country.
Blending Physical And Digital Outreach
Complementing its physical presence, the Dar Al Moukawil program is enhanced by a powerful digital platform. The online portal, www.daralmoukawil.com, has attracted over 6.2 million visitors seeking resources and information.
The initiative’s digital footprint extends to social media, with its Facebook page and YouTube channel collectively garnering 34 million views. This hybrid approach of physical centers and digital engagement allows the program to maximize its reach and provide accessible support to entrepreneurs regardless of their location.
