Bahrain Bourse, the licensed exchange regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain, has been named the “Best Exchange for Financial Literacy in the Middle East” at the Euromoney Capital Markets Awards 2025. This prestigious award acknowledges the exchange’s extensive and long-standing commitment to promoting investor education and financial awareness as a core component of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework.

The award highlights Bahrain Bourse’s strategic focus on empowering the community with financial knowledge to encourage informed and responsible investment decisions. Impactful Initiatives Reaching Thousands
Bahrain Bourse has developed a comprehensive suite of high-impact initiatives that reach more than 10,000 participants annually. Key programs include:
- The TradeQuest Program: A business-simulation program that recently concluded its 26th edition, engaging 20 school teams and seven universities.
- The Smart Investor Program: A national awareness program run in collaboration with INJAZ Bahrain, which reached 106 public and private schools in its sixth edition.
- The Investment Academy: Held in partnership with the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), this initiative provided over 360 individuals with professional courses and workshops in 2024.
- The BHB Board Mentorship Program: A program designed to prepare board-ready candidates for leadership roles, which recently launched its second cohort.
The Bourse also actively participates in global and regional campaigns, including the World Federation of Exchanges’ annual “Ring the Bell for Financial Literacy” and the regional “Mulim” awareness campaign.
