A delegation from the Bahraini Businesswomen’s Society has arrived in Moscow to participate in the “Women Changing the World” international conference, set to take place in St. Petersburg from November 5th to 8th, 2025. The event brings together women leaders, policymakers, and experts from over 30 countries to collaborate on future-focused solutions.
A Platform for Global Collaboration
Held under the theme “Cooperation for the Future,” the conference aims to enhance the leadership role of women in navigating rapid global transformations while supporting sustainable development through innovation and empowering future generations.
Since its inception in 1993, the summit has become a prominent international platform dedicated to women’s empowerment, attracting over 11,800 participants from more than 70 countries and facilitating the signing of 53 international cooperation agreements over its history.
Championing Bahraini Innovation
Dr. Fatima Al-Kohaji, President of the Bahraini Businesswomen’s Society and head of the delegation, emphasized that the society’s participation reflects the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to amplifying the presence of its female leaders in global forums.
“This conference is an opportunity to exchange expertise and expand the horizons of international cooperation with women’s and economic institutions from various countries,” stated Dr. Al-Kohaji. She noted that the event allows Bahrain to showcase its achievements in entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership.
The Bahraini delegation includes Fatima Al-Dallawar, Vicky Mouawad, Manar Sarrayyia, Ahlam Janahi, Noha Hamdan, and Safaa Qadah.
Forging International Partnerships
Dr. Al-Kohaji added that the delegation’s involvement underscores the status of Bahraini women as an inspiring model for economic and social empowerment, thanks to the continuous support from the Kingdom’s leadership.
Through its participation, the society aims to unlock new partnership avenues and represent Bahrain in a manner that befits its regional and international standing, further solidifying its role as a key player in the global economy.
