Mazad, Bahrain’s digital auction and marketplace platform, has successfully wrapped up its first-ever virtual live auction, signaling strong market appetite for interactive, digitally-driven sales experiences. The Mumtalakat portfolio company’s event, focused on distinguished vehicle plate numbers, attracted significant audience engagement and high-value bids from across the Kingdom.

Digital Bidding Drives High-Value Sales

The auction showcased a curated collection of 20 unique plates for cars, trucks, and motorcycles, with several lots achieving notable prices. The event’s top seller was car plate number 699999, which commanded a final price of BHD 140,000.

Other significant sales included plate number 690000, which sold for BHD 127,000, and plate number 696969, fetching BHD 85,000. The strong results extended beyond cars, with truck plate number 111111 selling for BHD 51,300 and motorcycle plate number 44444 closing at BHD 14,200.

The successful debut reinforces the platform’s ability to create a seamless and competitive bidding environment for premium collectibles.
