Bahrain’s Labour Fund, Tamkeen, in collaboration with Salica Investments, has officially opened applications for the third cohort of the Riyada Business Accelerator program. The initiative is designed specifically to support technology entrepreneurs who have a minimum viable product (MVP) or a market-ready solution.

Program Overview and Mission

The Riyada Business Accelerator is a six-month program focused on achieving real growth and building sustainable technology projects. The initiative aims to empower entrepreneurs to launch and develop their startups, scale their businesses, and enhance their investment readiness. This partnership aligns with Tamkeen’s strategic priorities to enhance the competitiveness of Bahraini talent and support the growth and digitization of local enterprises.

What Startups Will Receive

The program has a proven track record of enriching the Kingdom’s startup ecosystem. Participants will receive:

  • Direct Mentorship: Guidance from a selection of elite experts and mentors.
  • Practical Support: Hands-on assistance in developing competitive products, preparing financial models, and creating marketing and expansion strategies.
  • Investor Access: The program culminates in a “Final Demo Day,” providing a unique opportunity for founders to pitch directly to a wide network of investors.

Who Should Apply?

The program is looking for ambitious tech startups that meet the following criteria:

  • Must have a valid Commercial Registration (CR) in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
  • The team must include at least one Bahraini founder.
  • The startup must have a unique, technology-based idea with high potential for local, regional, and international scaling.
