The agreement, signed at GITEX Global 2025, will introduce one of the region’s first decentralized digital identity (DID) solutions to unify secure and seamless access across BEEAH’s expansive ecosystem of businesses.

The collaboration will see the deployment of IDTrust, The Hashgraph Group’s enterprise-grade self-sovereign identity platform built on Hedera’s distributed ledger technology (DLT). Enabled by The Hashgraph Association under its Enterprise Accelerator Program, the solution marks a significant milestone in BEEAH’s digital transformation roadmap. The IDTrust platform leverages quantum-secure cryptography for identity verification, providing enhanced trust for everything from KYC checks and employee authentication to sharing medical records and accessing e-government services. This move lays the foundation for a connected, trusted, and privacy-first digital framework spanning BEEAH’s verticals in environment, energy, real estate, technology, and healthcare.
Phased Rollout Across a Diversified Ecosystem
The decentralized identity solution will be introduced in phases, demonstrating a scalable and strategic approach to adoption. The initial phase will focus on BEEAH’s internal operations, streamlining identity management for employees and partners. Following this, the platform will be scaled across all BEEAH entities, including its smart real estate communities, healthcare facilities, and environmental service platforms. Future phases will explore broader integration with government and city-wide stakeholders in the UAE, positioning BEEAH as a regional model for enterprise-level decentralized identity adoption.
