Berytech, a leading ecosystem for entrepreneurs in Lebanon, has launched a call for expert consultants to lead a series of transformative workshops for its Waste Valorization Cluster (QEEMA) and Sustainable Energy Cluster. The initiative seeks specialists to design and deliver high-impact capacity-building sessions across four critical themes aimed at accelerating Lebanon’s transition to a sustainable and circular economy.
The Openings
Berytech is seeking proposals from expert consultants for the following four distinct initiatives:
1. Waste & Energy / Alternative Fuels
The selected consultant will design and deliver a workshop focused on transforming waste into alternative fuels. The session will cover waste-to-energy technologies, market trends, and the practicalities of alternative fuel production for businesses in Lebanon.
2. Green & Circular Finance
This capacity-building workshop will target financial institutions, SMEs, and startups. The consultant will provide training on key topics such as green bonds, circular economy financing models, and sustainable investment criteria.
3. Carbon Credit Markets
This training session is designed to educate stakeholders in the waste and energy sectors on the intricacies of carbon credit markets. The expert will cover carbon offsetting, verification processes (e.g., Verra, Gold Standard), and market mechanisms.
4. Market Readiness, ESG & Circular Business Models
The consultant for this workshop will focus on preparing green businesses for market entry. Key themes include implementing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles, developing viable circular business models, and crafting effective go-to-market strategies.
