Abu Dhabi is preparing to host the inaugural BRIDGE Summit 2025, an event poised to become the world’s largest debut media summit. Set to run from December 8 to 10 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), the summit will convene over 60,000 participants from 132 countries, solidifying the UAE’s position as a central hub for the global creative and knowledge economies.
A Global Gathering of Industry Titans
The scale of BRIDGE Summit 2025 is unprecedented for a first-time event. The organizers have announced it will welcome 430 speakers from 45 countries, 1,200 CEOs from leading media and technology firms, 260 local and international advertising agencies, and nearly 5,000 media professionals. This gathering underscores the significant global demand for a unified platform dedicated to advancing the business, creativity, and future of the content and entertainment sectors.
Bridging Media, Tech, and Creativity
Spanning 1.65 million square feet, the summit’s program is structured around seven core tracks designed to reflect the interconnected nature of the modern content economy: Media, Creator Economy, Music, Gaming, Technology, Marketing, and Picture.
H.E. Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of BRIDGE, emphasized the vision behind the summit, stating, “We launch BRIDGE from the UAE not merely to keep pace with global shifts in media, content, and entertainment, but to play an active role in shaping the future of the knowledge economy. Real power today is not formed within a single sector, but at the intersection of media, technology, and creativity.”
H.E. Dr. Jamal Mohammed Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of BRIDGE, further elaborated on the integrated approach. “We no longer live in a world of isolated industries. Songs are built on data, films spread through algorithms, platforms create stardom, games build communities and influencers drive economies.”
Tech Giants on Board
A key draw for the MENA tech community is the significant participation from global technology leaders. X will host an interactive presence for creators, while Meta is set to showcase its latest AI and VR advancements. Snapchat will have a dedicated creator zone featuring its next-generation Spectacles and augmented reality technologies.
Sony will anchor the exhibition floor with one of the largest pavilions, presenting its advanced imaging and communication technologies through expert-led workshops. The summit will also feature a ChinaJoy Pavilion, bringing over 25 leading game developers to the region.
A Comprehensive Three-Day Program
The three-day agenda includes more than 300 activities, from 200 main sessions to specialized workshops and closed-door roundtables for senior public and private sector leaders. A dedicated Startup Hub will host over 100 startups, providing them direct access to a global network of investors, partners, and industry experts.
To enhance the attendee experience, the summit has launched the Bridge App, a digital platform for building personalized agendas, booking meetings, and accessing live streams, aiming to extend the event’s value into a year-round professional ecosystem.
