About The Event
Operating under the poignant slogan “From Jisr al-Shughur to the Deir ez-Zor Suspension Bridge … We Build the Future Together,” this forum acts as a vital conduit for Syrian intellectual capital. It is a scientific initiative organized by the Syrian Science Council with support from the Jusoor Organization and in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education.
The primary mission is to create a collaborative environment where academics can exchange experiences and discuss the requirements of the current phase of recovery. The forum addresses the urgent need to develop the local research landscape, ensuring it aligns with the practical demands of rebuilding the country.

About The Organizers
The event is a collaborative effort led by the Syrian Science Council (SSC). It is supported by Jusoor, a San Francisco-based non-profit founded in 2011 by Syrian expatriates. Jusoor serves as a leading global actor in educational and entrepreneurial programs, dedicated to investing in Syria’s youth and bridging the opportunity gap through education and career development. The initiative is also coordinated with the Syrian Ministry of Higher Education.

The forum welcomes academics, researchers, and students. The events at Al-Furat University will be held at the Ibn Al-Bitar Amphitheater within the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering in Deir ez-Zor, with the opening scheduled for 11:00 AM on December 28.
