Cairo University Concludes 2nd Creativity and Innovation Forum

The Faculty of Science at Cairo University has successfully concluded the second edition of its Creativity and Innovation Forum, an event that brought together 200 participants and guests to celebrate youth innovation. The finals featured 100 competitors from various schools and universities across Egypt, with the top three winners in all categories receiving financial awards.


By the Numbers

The second edition of the forum showcased broad participation and a wide range of creative ideas:

  • 200 Participants & Guests: The total number of attendees at the forum.
  • 100 Competitors: The number of finalists from across the Republic, aged between 10 and 25.
  • 4 Main Tracks: The competition included scientific, entrepreneurial, cultural, and artistic tracks.
  • 15 Experts: The number of members on the judging committee that evaluated the projects.

A National Platform for Youth Creativity

Dr. Heba Mohamed Fahmy, Acting Director of the Center for Researcher Support at the Faculty of Science, stated that the forum has renewed its status as a leading national platform for nurturing youth creativity and promoting a culture of innovation. The event provided a unique opportunity for participants to present their creative ideas and projects to a selection of academics, experts, and entrepreneurs, who praised the high quality and originality of the submissions.


Diverse Tracks from Science to Arts

The forum was divided into four main tracks to showcase a wide array of talents:

  • The Scientific Track: Included projects in Artificial Intelligence, Energy, Environment, and Applied Sciences.
  • The Entrepreneurship Track: Featured business ideas, business models, and sustainability solutions.
  • The Cultural Track: Focused on poetry and short stories.
  • The Artistic Track: Included photography, painting, and handicrafts.
