Cairo-based EdTech platform Carerha and social-impact foundation Foundever.org have announced the renewal of their Freelance Mama program in Egypt. The successful partnership is set to empower an additional 100 women with critical digital skills, reinforcing the nation’s growing reputation as a hub for tech talent and social innovation.
Building on Three Years of Success
Launched three years ago, the Freelance Mama program has already equipped more than 250 women with the training and confidence needed to enter the digital economy. The initiative specifically targets mothers, women re-entering the workforce, and those seeking flexible careers by providing structured pathways to sustainable income opportunities. The renewal will welcome a new cohort of 100 participants in 2026, continuing the program’s tangible impact.
A Curriculum for the Digital Workforce
Freelance Mama offers a comprehensive curriculum designed for today’s remote work landscape. Participants receive training in high-demand digital skills, AI-supported content creation, and online services. The program combines this technical training with essential coaching and mentorship, ensuring graduates are not only skilled but also ready to transition smoothly into freelance work, entrepreneurship, or other digital service roles.
A Partnership Driving Social and Economic Impact
The collaboration leverages Carerha’s expertise as a leading women-focused career platform and its deep mentorship networks with Foundever.org’s commitment to social innovation. This synergy creates a supportive ecosystem that helps graduates secure real market opportunities.
“Our collaboration with Foundever.org proves the power of partnership,” said Jessy Radwan, CEO of Carerha. “Freelance Mama has already transformed lives across Egypt. By renewing the program, we are expanding opportunity, strengthening resilience and helping more women participate confidently in the digital economy.”
The program’s success is measured through clear indicators, including completion rates, employability outcomes, income generation, and confidence growth, ensuring transparency and measurable impact.
“When education, technology and purpose come together, ecosystems thrive,” stated Olivier Camino, President of Foundever.org and Founder and Chief Strategy Officer, Foundever. “Supporting women in Egypt to develop digital skills is not only a social investment, it helps build stronger communities, new career pathways and future talent that benefits everyone.”
Scaling a Proven Egyptian Model
The success of the Freelance Mama program in Egypt has provided a scalable model for empowering women in other markets. Building on this experience, Foundever.org and Carerha have recently extended their collaboration into new regions with the launch of Business Mama in Morocco, demonstrating the strength of the model developed and proven in the Egyptian ecosystem.
