The Kingdom’s push to become a regional hub for technology and innovation has marked a significant milestone as the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), represented by the Center for Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), celebrated the conclusion of its Code AI Incubator. The inaugural cohort’s achievements were showcased during a final Demo Day, where graduating startups presented their technology projects to a select audience of investors, industry experts, and support entities.

Inaugural Demo Day Showcases New AI Ventures

The graduation ceremony served as a powerful platform for the first batch of entrepreneurs to demonstrate their market-ready solutions. Held as a Demo Day, the event provided a critical opportunity for the founders to pitch their AI-driven projects directly to key stakeholders in the venture capital and business community. This direct exposure is a crucial step in securing funding and strategic partnerships to scale their operations, highlighting the practical, results-oriented approach of the incubator program.

A Four-Month Deep Dive into AI Innovation

The Code AI Incubator provided an intensive, four-month journey designed to transform creative ideas into viable, marketable, and investable technology products. The program offered a comprehensive support system, including expert mentorship, specialized training, funding, and access to essential technical resources. The first cohort comprised 15 promising startups, which benefited from the guidance of over 30 mentors and experts who delivered more than 250 hours of intensive training and mentorship sessions throughout the program.

Fueling a Knowledge-Based Economy

The launch and successful completion of the first incubator cohort are central to the MCIT’s broader strategy of strengthening the innovation and tech entrepreneurship ecosystem within Saudi Arabia. By specifically supporting Saudi entrepreneurs in artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies, the initiative directly contributes to empowering the next generation of startups. This focus aligns perfectly with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to accelerate the nation’s transition towards a sustainable, innovation-driven, and prosperous digital economy.
