The 62nd Damascus International Fair, held from August 28 to September 5, 2025, concluded with contracts and agreements valued at over 935 billion Syrian pounds. The event attracted a massive public turnout, with a total of 2.26 million visitors attending over its duration.

A Major Showcase for Local and International Business
Mohammed Hamza, Director of the Syrian Corporation for Exhibitions and International Markets, stated that the fair saw an average of 251,200 visitors per day. He noted that local visitors made up 96% of the total, with 90,440 international visitors accounting for the remaining 4%.
Boosting the Local Economy
The signed contracts and associated tourism spending have contributed to stimulating the local economy by more than $120 million. The fair also led to the creation of temporary and permanent job opportunities and boosted activity in the service sector, including hotels, restaurants, transportation, and commerce.
