Deloitte has announced the expansion of its Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) in Saudi Arabia, a strategic move to meet the surging demand for cloud services across the Kingdom. The expansion strengthens the firm’s Riyadh-based capabilities as the nation prepares for the launch of major Microsoft and AWS data centres slated for 2026.
Capitalizing on the Hyperscaler Wave
The upcoming arrival of hyperscale data centres from Microsoft and AWS, joining existing offerings from Google Cloud and Oracle, is set to significantly widen access to secure and compliant cloud infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
This development will enable public and private sector organizations to deploy a wide range of solutions, from sovereign private cloud environments to advanced Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms like generative AI tools, CRM, and ERP systems, all while adhering to local data residency and regulatory mandates.
Comprehensive Cloud Support
Deloitte’s expanded CCoE in Riyadh provides an end-to-end suite of services designed to guide organizations through their cloud journey. This includes cloud strategy, architecture, engineering, and managed services.
The firm offers support across readiness assessments, migration, cost optimisation through Financial Operations (FinOps), and ongoing operations. Its expertise covers all major platforms, including Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Additionally, Deloitte advises on regulatory compliance, SaaS deployment, and crucial workforce upskilling to ensure a smooth transition.
Aligning with Vision 2030
The expansion is closely aligned with the goals of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the economy and build a vibrant digital ecosystem. By bolstering local cloud capabilities, Deloitte is helping organizations harness the power of new digital infrastructure.
“Deloitte is proud to support Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 by helping organisations take advantage of the new cloud infrastructure becoming available in the Kingdom,” said Jamil Hamati, Partner and Engineering Leader at Deloitte Middle East.
