3 Min Read

The Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) has announced a suite of new cybersecurity products with significant AI-driven enhancements during its participation at GITEX Global 2025. The launch reinforces Dubai’s ambition to become a global leader in cybersecurity and underscores its commitment to developing a secure and resilient digital ecosystem, in alignment with the Dubai Cyber Index (DCI).

Bolstering Compliance with ASAAS 2.0

Among the key innovations unveiled is ASAAS 2.0, the latest iteration of the Center’s AI-powered auditing engine. Building upon the success of its predecessor, ASAAS 2.0 elevates digital risk management across Dubai’s government entities by enhancing cybersecurity compliance. The platform provides real-time assessments, automated gap analysis, and generative AI-driven recommendations through an interactive dashboard.

Benchmarking Readiness with Dubai Cyber Index

DESC is also advancing the Dubai Cyber Index (DCI) through an integrated AI-based platform designed to benchmark cybersecurity readiness across all Dubai government entities. The DCI offers real-time threat monitoring, sophisticated risk analytics, and performance benchmarking. This initiative aims to establish Dubai as one of the safest cities in cyberspace by providing a clear and continuous measure of its security posture.

Securing Digital Transactions with Ethaq+

Additionally, DESC showcased the enhanced Ethaq+ platform, a secure digital certification solution for both the public and private sectors. The platform enables the issuance, verification, and management of trusted digital certificates, which ensures authenticity, compliance, and trust across a wide range of digital transactions.
H.E. Yousuf Hamad Al Shaibani, Chief Executive at Dubai Electronic Security Center, commented on the launches, stating, “Our participation at GITEX 2025 reflects our commitment to supporting the vision of the wise leadership to transform Dubai into a global hub for innovation and resilience, while strengthening the cybersecurity ecosystem in line with rapid technological advancements and contributing to building a safer digital future.”
