This flagship competition opens Huawei’s advanced cloud technologies to participants, empowering them to build, run, and release applications on Huawei Cloud.

Competition Overview
The Huawei Developer Competition is a flagship innovation event organized by Huawei to inspire developers to create cutting-edge applications and solutions that solve real-world problems. The competition opens up Huawei’s technologies, capabilities, and tools via APIs for developers to easily build, run, and release applications on the cloud, thereby promoting an open and robust cloud ecosystem.
Prizes and Awards
The competition features a total prize pool of $20,000. The rewards are distributed as follows:
- Champion: $5,000 (1 winner).
- Runner-up: $3,000 (2 winners).
- Second Runner-up: $2,000 (3 winners).
- Innovative Student Teams: $1,000 (3 winners).

- Sign-up & Training: September to October 2025.
- Submissions: November 2025.
- Prelims & Semifinals: November 2025.

How to Apply
Participants can compete solo or form a team of up to five members. Each team leader can also claim coupons worth $100 to $200 for Huawei Cloud services on a first-come, first-served basis.
