Dhahran Techno Valley Launches Deep-Tech Venture Bootcamp In Saudi Arabia

Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV), a leading Saudi hub for technology and innovation, has officially launched its Deep-Tech Ventures Program Bootcamp for 2025. The intensive program brings together 27 shortlisted innovations from the faculty and students of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) to compete for a place in a comprehensive venture-building program.

From Lab to Market

The initiative is designed to transform breakthrough academic research and innovations into successful deep-tech startups. Participants in the bootcamp are currently engaged in hands-on workshops focused on business strategy, product development, and refining their pitches. The bootcamp culminated in a Deep-Tech Demo Day on October 6th, where the teams showcased their projects. Following this, only 10 teams will be selected to advance to a four-month venture-building program.

Funding and Comprehensive Support

The 10 ventures selected to proceed will receive significant support to accelerate their growth and commercialization efforts. This support package includes:

  • Funding of up to SAR 200,000
  • Hands-on co-development for product and business growth
  • Access to comprehensive venturing resources
  • Essential market access to connect with industry partners and customers
