DMCC Extends Strategic Web3 Partnership With CV VC Group Into 2026

3 Min Read

The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) has officially extended its strategic partnership with CV VC Group, reinforcing a high-growth corridor for Web3, blockchain, and fintech innovation between Dubai and Switzerland. The renewal, signed last week in Davos, Switzerland, by DMCC Executive Chairman Ahmed Bin Sulayem and CV VC Group CEO Mathias Ruch, marks a transition into an execution-led phase for the collaboration through 2026.

Building the Dubai-Switzerland Innovation Corridor

Since the partnership’s inception in 2020, DMCC and CV VC Group have worked to bridge the digital asset ecosystems of two of the world’s leading financial hubs. The 2026 extension broadens this scope to include:

  • Strategic Alignment: Advance initiatives supporting the UAE’s National Blockchain Strategy.
  • Founder Support: Provide practical platforms for startups and institutions to build, test, and scale across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Shared Ecosystems: Reciprocal workspace access and joint international programs in both Dubai and Davos.
  • Education and Acceleration: Continued cooperation on flagship initiatives, including the DMCC and Bybit Annual Hackathon.

Expanding Into AI and Wealth Management

The partnership now extends beyond the DMCC Crypto Centre to touch broader digital transformation agendas. Collaboration will encompass the CV VC Group AI Hub and the newly expanding DMCC Wealth Hub, linking traditional commodity trade with the digital infrastructure underpinning the future of financial services. This synergy complements DMCC FinX, the center’s fintech-focused agenda, by connecting global capital with real-world trade and commodities.

Driving the Future of Financial Services

By linking trusted global capital with the digital infrastructure of the future, the partnership aims to solidify Dubai’s position as a global hub for digital assets. Together, DMCC and CV VC Group are providing the necessary framework for the next generation of fintech companies to leverage blockchain technology in improving efficiency and reducing costs across global industrial sectors.
