The Dubai Police has enhanced its high-profile luxury patrol fleet with the addition of three new Mercedes-Benz vehicles, each equipped with advanced artificial intelligence (AI) systems. The new cars were unveiled by the Tourism Police Department as part of the city’s World Tourism Day celebrations, underscoring a commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology for public safety.
Integrating Advanced AI and Sustainable Technology
The newly inducted vehicles include a Mercedes SL 55 AMG, a Mercedes GT 63 AMG, and the fully electric Mercedes EQS 580. Each model is fitted with state-of-the-art AI systems and interactive displays designed to provide officers with real-time updates and enhanced situational awareness. The inclusion of the electric EQS 580 also highlights Dubai Police’s focus on integrating sustainable transport solutions into its operations.
Enhancing Security at Key Tourist Hubs
According to Brigadier Saeed Al Hajri, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, the fleet expansion is a strategic move to bolster police presence in high-traffic tourist locations such as Burj Khalifa, Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard, and Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR). “Our aim is to bolster the sense of safety and security at Dubai’s key tourist attractions,” said Brigadier Al Hajri. The highly visible patrols also enable officers to better engage with visitors and provide assistance, reinforcing the community-focused image of the force.

The new vehicles are the result of a strong, ongoing partnership between Dubai Police and Gargash Enterprises, the official dealer of Mercedes-Benz in the region.
