The Egypt Entrepreneurship Awards (EEA) celebrated its fifth anniversary in a grand ceremony at the Grand Egyptian Museum, bringing together over 1,000 prominent entrepreneurs, investors, and ecosystem leaders. The event, held on

November 21, honored the country’s most innovative ventures by announcing the winners across 15 distinct categories.
The gala was attended by several distinguished guests, including H.E. Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, and H.E. Dr. Tarek Shawky, former Minister of Education and Technical Education, highlighting the government’s support for the nation’s burgeoning startup scene.

A Milestone for Egyptian Entrepreneurship

Marking five years of impact, the ceremony underscored the resilience and creativity within Egypt’s entrepreneurial landscape. Amr Mansi, Founder of EEA and CEO of ievents, reflected on the journey and the growth of the startups that have been part of the awards over the years.

“This celebration embodies a shared spirit of resilience; the resilience of Egyptian entrepreneurs who have faced challenges, adapted to change, and continued to innovate, alongside our commitment to preserving the EEA platform and its mission over the past years and beyond,” said Mansi.

The long-term success of the EEA has been bolstered by strong ecosystem collaborations. For the fourth consecutive year, Tatweer Misr served as the strategic partner, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing talent and empowering promising startups in Egypt.

Karim Radwan, Chief Commercial Officer at Tatweer Misr, emphasized the strength of the partnership. “The fifth edition of the awards marks a new milestone reflecting the strength of our extended partnership with ievents, a partnership built on a shared vision, trust, and effective collaboration,” he stated. “We work as one team to support entrepreneurs and innovators in turning their projects into companies capable of achieving growth and leaving a real impact on the economy.”

The event was also supported by key partners including Vodafone Business as the official technology partner, Hassan Allam Holding as the venue host, EGBANK as the official bank, and Nestlé as the official sustainability partner.
