Egypt’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) has kicked off the “Start and Improve Your Business (SIYB)” training program, an initiative designed to equip women with the skills needed to enter the workforce and launch their own ventures. The program focuses on transforming business ideas into viable projects to foster economic independence and sustainable success for female founders.

Building a Foundation for Viable Projects
The initiative aims to provide aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs with practical knowledge to manage their businesses effectively. Training modules concentrate on core competencies essential for navigating the challenges of starting and scaling a new company.
Dalia Said, General Manager of the Executive Secretariat and coordinator for the Financial Education and Entrepreneurship projects, stated that the council is continuing to implement these training courses. She emphasized the program’s focus on developing skills in business plan creation, marketing strategies, and financial planning to enable efficient project management.
Phased Rollout Across Egypt
The program has commenced with five week-long training courses across Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria. Organizers have confirmed a strategic plan to expand the SIYB program to all governorates throughout the country, ensuring broader access for interested participants.
Registration for the free training sessions remains open to maximize reach and provide more women with the opportunity to participate.
