Egyptian healthtech company Duaya has acquired EXMGO, a local SaaS provider for pharmacies and medical businesses, in a six-figure deal. The acquisition is a strategic move to bolster Duaya’s e-commerce capabilities and advance the digital transformation of pharmacies across Egypt.
Following the transaction, Duaya has rebranded and relaunched EXMGO’s service as “Duaya Go,” integrating it into its expanding suite of digital healthcare solutions.
A Strategic Move Into E-commerce
The acquisition aligns with Duaya’s vision to evolve from a B2B marketplace into a comprehensive digital partner for the healthcare sector. By integrating EXMGO’s technology, Duaya can now offer pharmacies direct-to-consumer e-commerce tools, enabling a more modern and efficient sales process.
“The acquisition of EXMGO is part of our strategy to serve a larger segment of pharmacies and medical companies,” said Dr. Ahmed Fazara, Founder and CEO of Duaya. “It reflects our clear vision to digitise pharmacies and transform traditional sales operations into platform-based digital processes.”
Introducing Duaya Go
The newly launched Duaya Go provides pharmacies with a powerful SaaS solution to create their own branded applications and websites. This allows them to manage online sales, handle inventory and payments, and communicate directly with their customers, creating a seamless and professional digital purchasing experience.
Ambitious Growth and Expansion
Since its founding in 2021, Duaya has seen rapid growth, partnering with over 500 medical suppliers to serve more than 12,000 clients, including pharmacies, clinics, and hospitals. The company aims to expand its client base to 25,000 by the end of 2025 and has announced plans to enter new markets in the GCC during 2026. This acquisition is expected to be a key driver in achieving these ambitious growth targets.
