In a significant move to enhance Egypt’s burgeoning startup landscape, the Entrepreneurship Awards Egypt (EAA) and the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham) have announced a new strategic partnership. The collaboration aims to spotlight the country’s most distinguished innovators and create a supportive environment that fosters the growth and success of their ventures.

The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Amr Mansi, Founder and CEO of EAA, and Silvia Menassà, CEO of AmCham Egypt. This alliance arrives at a pivotal time for Egypt, which is experiencing rapid growth in its entrepreneurial sectors and witnessing the emergence of numerous innovative startups within the local market. The initiative is set to provide a crucial platform for these promising companies to gain visibility and support.

Under the new agreement, AmCham Egypt’s specialized committees will actively engage with the winning startups from the EAA platform. Attendees included Hossam Heiba, CEO of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI); Karim Yassin, AmCham Board Member and VP and General Manager of Procter & Gamble; Dalia Wahba, AmCham’s Vice President of Membership and Co-founder of CID Consulting; and Moataz Kotb, Vice-Chair of AmCham’s Entrepreneurship Committee and Head of CultArk.
