ExxonMobil Egypt and the Misr El Kheir Foundation are celebrating the fourth year of their partnership by awarding five innovative teams in the latest round of the “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge.” The competition, facilitated by the foundation’s Gesr incubator, focused this year on fostering solutions in the Software as a Service (SaaS) sector to drive sustainable development and empower Egyptian youth.
Driving Innovation In The SaaS Sector
The 2024-2025 cycle was designed to support startups developing solutions in five key tracks: content management, e-commerce software, digital asset management, website builders, and electronic payment gateways. The initiative reflects a shared goal between ExxonMobil Egypt and Misr El Kheir to harness technology for social good and provide young entrepreneurs with the resources to turn their ideas into impactful projects.
In his speech, Eng. Youssef Hafez of ExxonMobil Egypt stated, “Our partnership with Misr El Kheir through the Gesr program is a central part of our social responsibility strategy. With each cycle, we become more convinced of the passion and exceptional, innovative ideas of Egyptian youth.” Eng.
